I decided to get this GPS speedometer app for my mobile to see how fast the trains are actually moving. So, I pulled out the app on the straightaway between Jamaica and Valley Stream and we managed to hit 83 mph (134 kph) which was pretty interesting because it did not feel like we were going that fast. Now you know.
